Reminded me of the Rory Fallon goal against the same team at Hampden.

It was a fantastic winning goal today?.what a strike.
We were knocking at the door so it was great to see the ball hit the back of the net.
Hibs are crap and we should have enough about us to get a higher league position than them.
I think they will also slip up in their next match.

It seems disingenuous to merely call that a goal. It was more than that. It was a work of art.

Yeah just saw the highlights, maybe the sportscene team are pissed off because we beat David Grays brilliant Hibs team. They have had their heads up his arse for months.

We were the better team in the first half and were creating some decent chances, a mixture of the final ball letting us down and Hibs defending well prevented us from scoring.

Second half was more equal but neither side had great chances to score until Nisbet scored.

Have to say I was impressed with how that Rocky Bushiri defended, he was a bit of a joke figure to begin with but he looks like a good defender now.

Out of contract in the summer and possibly worth a look or am I way off on that one?

    This
Couldn?t believe what I was seeing. First 10 minutes we were playing great, especially down the left - better movement and final ball and we could have been 2 up- none of that shown
They had 3 chances from corners which we defended abysmally and a poor pass from Mitov
Knoester was very good again today - very steady and good distribution - thought Keskinnen played well also
Palaversa need to stop the stupid yellow cards- Crossing poor- would have liked to see Polvara earlier- again showed some drive and composure
Great goal from Nisbet as others have said

On Rocky Bushiri - maybe yes in a Goodwin back 3, but not in a Thelin back 4.

Only saw 70 mins on, but was all us really.

    What a goal.

If I an charged with the task of declaring what was the next best thing out of today's game to Nesbit's sublime strike, I would have to say Dorrington.

The guy is a class act ... and only 20 yo? ... no way we'll be able to afford him or lure him up north wi' the smell o' freshly baked rowies, but Ah see a prospect there ... his reading, timing and quick decision making are an absolute gift.

The loon is class and only turned 20 this month.
He has great feet for a defender, is quick when needed and seems to be forging a good understanding alongside Knoester.

Doubt he would sign for us permanently, but are rumours going around that we have asked about his availability next season.

I've heard folk bang on about needing Tobers back. I'm honestly not so sure.

Win the cup and qualify for Europe and the loon might fancy an extended stay in the granite city.

I suppose it all depends on who is manager of Spurs next season.

Well as said previously, it was a very enjoyable afternoon at Pittodrie yesterday.

You can see a team emerging here and a style of play developing.
Far from the finished article, but haven't felt this confident in the team for a long, long time.

Still issues in the team/squad, but looking forward to seeing who comes in and leaves over the next few months.

As for the team yesterday. We need to try someone other than Pape G. I know he brings a chaos factor to our play, but my goodness he is a poor footballer. Possibly one of the worst I have seen.
No idea why he sulked when taken off. I don't think Jimmy was impressed with him doing that.

Shadymo as well. Gives Jensen little support on the right, but offers an outlet up the pitch. He looked as though he couldn't be arsed chasing back at times.

Still, more pluses than minuses yesterday. Clarkson was superb again. I love how his feet and brain are so quick when they get the ball and the passing he displays. Of course not every pass works, but still like watching him on the ball.

Shinnie, despite his legs clearly having gone, put in another great shift on the left.

I hope MacKenzie on the bench was taking notes on how to play left back yesterday.

The goal from Nisbet though was pure football p*rn.

Bit e didnae dee nithin else in e game min...booooooo!!!

Also a shout for Dante Polvara and his sh*thousing of the Hibs players yesterday, when him and McGrath were taking the corners towards the end of the game and running down the clock.
Was a joy to see them wound up. Thought his booking was a little harsh.

I hope the Hibs players are a little more welcoming to Jamie McGrath when he joins them. They gave him some rough treatment when he came on.
