Other than the obvious difference that Wexham's money is real, the other big difference between Munto and what's happening to them is the influx of American fans. I used to look at their message board back in the day, and it seemed for every actual Wrexham fan, there were two or three Americans who signed up in 2022 and were keen to share their opinions despite having never been to a Wrexham game or even to Wales. I guess that's the price of success.

Good luck to them. They've spent their way up the leagues in record fashion, and I'd imagine the club feels completely different to how it used to. But I don't begrudge the long-suffering Wrexham fans a bit of success after years in the doldrums.
