How can that be true? Trevor from Canklow who works at Job Lot says Tony is a tightarse who needs to get his hand in his pocket.

    Interesting, thanks.

Wonder whether even something like a miraculous doubling in fanbase would make a difference? Can?t remember what proportion of revenue comes from ticket sales.

At a rough calculation I'd say, to just cover the shortfall with ticket sales we'd have to at least triple (or maybe even quadruple) our average attendance.

Sobering stuff that. We're a third division club - let's hope we can at least stay there. I really fear for the coming season with the player abyss we find ourselves in...

Steve, or flip the coin. Matt pulls off a Warney and delivers promotion the first time of asking with his new squad. What's the payment from the FA now for those in the Championship....11 Mill ain't it? 5 Mill from the PL and rest made up from the EFL. Now that would sort most if not all of our problems out as to being under funded in two seasons time.

Brin, wasn't our wage bill ?12.9M last season in the Championship? Sure i read it somewhere. If it's right. then the gate monies have to cover everything else..

There's also advertising that brings in revenue, shirt sales, corporate, it's not all down to just gate money pal. Oh and players sold where the money wasn't re invested into the team.

Shows the scale of the devide.

The day is going to come that people won't stomach 200m A YEAR losses for the sake of being shouted at by 50p millionaires in real or otherwise Stone Island jumpers for being "cheap".

Proved that tripling our budget is necessary and for that you'd need someone with billions who just wants to play.... And those people will buy a bigger club.

Always a chance though that it just translates into higher transfer fee and wage demands for Championship clubs because everyone knows they?ve had that 11 mil a year, so our revenue might go up but be swallowed by even higher costs?
