Aye. I?ve caught out quite a few over the years when I claim that as being Mixu?s first goal for us.

The club have announced the death of Doug Coutts, local boy who played for the Dons in the early 1960s.

I'd forgotten that he went on to play for Berwick and was part of the team that knocked the deid club out of the cup in '67. Once a Don...

January 67. The Dons playing Dundee away in the cup, and giving them a 5-0 doing as I recall. It may have been Davie Robb?s debut? On the way hame from the Maroons game (naebody had a portable radio in those austere days) we used, as our fore-runner of Teletext ot the internet, Third Brothers? TV shop windie where the rumoured defeat of the hunbstds was confirmed. Loud hosannas apart from the loval huncnuts. Doug Coutts was Berwick?s heroic stopper that afternoon. The only bit of my memory missing is who the freakin freak Keith gave a hiding to that afternoon. My oracle will have the info.

I?d seen the filth beat us 2-1 at Pittodrie about ten days before (Dave Johnson for us, George McLean 2 for them) and it wasn?t until 6 December 1975 that I saw us eventually beat the ****ing arseholes.

Ethan Ross has scored Falkirk?s goal (1-1 HT), incidentally, against relegated Accies.

Ethan?s just poured a bottle of Peroni over his head in wild dressing room celebrations. Their Manager will be in high demand I?d imagine.

Connor McLennan?s cross for Jamie Murphy to score for Ayr v Partick Thistle is his first positive contribution to Scottish football since 2018.

If Del stays at Killie, Sam will be at Rugby Park next season.
    Classic McInnes signing.

What a bit of business he was for the club.
