Cove on Tuesday

So it's Cove Rangers at Palmerston on Tuesday night in the first of the double header, - while Stenhousemuir may cause Airdrie some problems.

It's too close to call any of these games, - although as always, the Championship side have an advantage having played on Friday night.

Hopefully we ?saved? ourselves at Arbroath, if ever there was a time to play from the back, then yesterday was the day, - leaving us fresh for Tuesday.
I?m hopeful that Stenny will give Airdrie a big fright on Tuesday night too.

A massive game for Queens but have to say I?m a bit disappointed they haven?t reduced prices for the game to encourage more fans to attend.

There won?t be a huge turn out on Tuesday night, but Queens will have to pay police, stewarding and for floodlighting, - the latter being something Cove won?t need to worry about. If we?d had the luxury of a Saturday game, I?m sure the club would have reduced prices.

No Police will be there Jardi but reduced prices especially free entry for under 16?s would have been a great idea.

Two evenly matched sides in an entertaining match, end to end with few actual chances created. Yes Queens needed to up the pace and directness but you have to acknowledge just how organised and difficult Cove were to play against. All to play for come Saturday when it may be more open with the emphasis on the home side to attack. Mon the South 👏👏

Very good crowd for a Tuesday night of just under 1,800 and a brilliant atmosphere from the young team.

It is good seeing a wee bit of atmosphere created. Hopefully they stick with it and keep coming back. Pity about the pyrotechnics though
