Let the fanfare sound, we now have to crown our new Champion of the Prediction League for this season.




Yes it deservedly goes HK Miller. An excellent return Sir and especially how you finally finished the day and boy did you deliver to cement what has been a stupendous run for you. Out there at the top for almost two thirds of the season, a gallant chase was put on by CT Milller but alas he just didn't have enough in the tank to catch you up.

Let's see how it all panned out on the day. A generous 23 points was up for grabs and they were greatly accepted by most.

No shows: Pipppy and Millerstale decided to sit this one out.

Weekly winner(s): 11 of us all hit double digits and they went like this: CT Milller=10 points, Adventus=11, Ackworth, Grist, Leeds Miller, Lol Morgan=12, CAM and Harry Bow=13. Then it was the turn of GlennMiller and myself with 14 points, had we sealed a weekly win?

No we hadn't because....wait for this. HK Miller hit a brilliant 15 points so bagged the bonus 5 to make it 20 for him overall. He just had to pip Glenn and me on the final day . I've not done yet with HK Miller.

Jokers played: The final piece of the jigsaw on these was complete as Harpo88 scored 3 doubling up to 6 points. Then came along
CT Milller scoring 10 hitting making 20 overall. Talk about saving the best while last.....HK Miller played his Joker so doubled all his score up to an amazing whopping 40 points! The best ever this season played from a Joker. Now that IS how to play a Joker....simply amazing!

Predict a Score: Final score was Swansea 3 v 3 Oxford so no final winners on the day. Your standards are slipping HK Miller

Wooden Spoon(s): This man has had a stormer on these this season and he gladly took the last one away to complete his set....well I think it's now a full set. Cayton your score of 5 points got you the spoon this week pal. I'm sure you'll improve next season.

One final shout out for Ackworth Miller surpassing the 300 point marker.

Not only has HK Miller become the newly crowned Champion, he has also broke the record on the PL for becoming the first person to surpass the 400 point barrier, a brilliant achievement I think we all surely agree on.

My final thanks go out to you all who have helped keep this PL still going by entering the competition. I know I enjoy doing it, albeit my abacus sometimes goes on the blink I look forward to seeing all your names again come August time to get this show on the road again....
