Maybe his faults (and he definitely has faults) will be remedied with experience? After all he is a young coach still learning and improving.if he is still with us next season he would certainly benefit from an experienced assistant.

This post is far too reasonable Pedro. Please try to sound angrier when using NCM.

I do think he?s been sold up the river on that one or maybe he?s chose to work alone with promoting an extremely inexperienced coach. It doesn?t sit right with me after losing 2 full time coaches, it?s a mistake whoever?s idea it was.

He needs a really good no 2 as you said, every coach/manager does, look at Fergie he always had a fairly experienced no2 with him.

I think the reason we havent replaced the other 2 coaches is because SMs position will be under review. If he goes, which i believe he will, then an whole new coaching team will be appointed.

It doesn?t sit right with me either Matt and to an extent he has been short changed this season.

I also think the same as durhampie, the owners don?t rush decisions and suspect they were uncertain on his future at the time of his coaches departure so didn?t reappoint as you would fully expect in that scenario. Harsh in my opinion but that?s my guess too

Still a big mistake when you?re competing for the autos just over halfway in the season. Anyone could have come in on a short term contract.

Not really, employing new faces you weren't fully privy to may have caused friction between the staff.

Don't really get what all the to and fro is? The owners are happy to let things play out so bitch as much as you like it means nothing.

All valid points, but I still see the 'maybe' as more of a 'maybe not'.

I'd love to be wrong, but I see Maynard as more the problem than the solution.

Yes understand that but when you have 20 plus players knocking about the place for training, wanting meetings, media duties, analysis etc etc you need a bit of help, promoting a guy that use to be a data analyst and getting the gk coach to dab in seems a bit bonkers to me.
