    There was a similar conversation on the Maynard Out Thread.

    I understand getting behind the team, singing, positivity etc, that is a given. If you do not understand what that can bring to a team, then I cannot help you.

    But, I really dislike the old, the fans should do more to help the team out. Not having it. It is that team, alongside the management teams responsibility to do the business whether there are 0, 10,000 or 100,000 fans watching them.

    I do agree that at times the ML crowd can be quiet, but even if 15,000 turn up tomorrow and decide to sit in total silence, the players need to do the business.

    Are we supporters or an audience?
    Supporters are an active part of the match and can influence results.
    An audience just watches and claps or boos at the end.
    If someone goes to the match and just watches they may as well stay at home and watch it on the tv / radio.
