And how far have we come under Eddie and the new owners that we can write something like that and be serious about it.
Exactly mate!

To quote Yazz's 1988 Chart topper "the only way is up!"

Progress is never linear. We've developed amazingly rapidly from 19th to the hights of UCL in 2 seasons. Then a Plateau as we hit the PSR buffers, a small squad suffering from fatigue and injuries. However, during that injury smashed season, we still finished 7th ahead of a pretty much fully fit Manc Filth team.

This season boot on the other foot, the filth still not suffering the injuries completely collapse. Spuds have 80% the amount of injuries as us and they're down among the relegation fighters.

Eddie has really show what a great manager he is.

We've been without Botman - much as been said about the 2nd half against Chelsea, the one point no one is making is that Sven was subbed early in the 2nd half. The man is an incredible defender. However, we're still 3rd with the potential to finish 2nd and we've got silver in the cabinet!

With more solid investment we'll go up another level again and reach the next level plateau. Settle ourselves at a top 4 regular and enable us to go deep in the UCL in the coming years.

Title challenges will follow and more silverware will come our way!

It's so exciting!
