It was great to see 42000 Mackems go barmy after 122 minutes of near silence

I was rather enjoying the 122 minutes of near silence. Coventry must be thinking they ran over a black cat. How did they manage to lose over 2 legs they largely dominated. I am looking forward to watching the Mackems go up against the Blades. They each won their home games when they met during the league season.

Coventry didn't triumph because they failed to score goals when they were on top. As with many teams these days, they have lots of possession, however, they do not turn this into attempts on goal whther on target or not. So many times you see teams get into an area around the penalty area, then turn back and the ball ends up back with their own keeper.
Many fans seem to want this sort of football, however, you only win games if you score goals. Twenty eight passes in and around the centre circle and then pass back to the keeper is a very common occurrence in modern football. Sad, really.
