Well that confirms what I saw with my own eyes - Jatta was blatantly fouled, the ref ignored it, then Jatta won the ball with a perfectly timed sliding tackle. How Jatta comes out of that whole scenario with a red is beyond belief. And I don't want to hear "but he was out of control!" Why was he out of control? What made the perfectly timed sliding tackle out of control?
Of course, his reaction is worth a red, but that only happened because the ref completely messed up by not blowing for the shirt-pull. Yet another example of an incompetent ref changing the course of an important game.
He won the ball but it looked bad at first sight. If they had var he would probably have got a yellow only but the ref didn't have that or a slow motion replay. BUT if he had blown for a blatant foul on Jatta in the first place it wouldn't have happened. It's a pity Jatta behaved the way he did because it might have got rescinded. He will probably now get another one or two extra match bans.
