I don't think the owners will keep with him. They know he's not good enough, the aim this season was automatic promotion. A Playoff promotion would have given him time but I think last season he was saved by Montague, not the owners

I think the last third of the season and our failure getting valuable points from fairly easy home games this season shows Maynard hasn't got what it takes unfortunately. I think the brothers know this, hense why they didn't replace the Saunders brothers when they left. They probably realised it was a step too far for them.

1.7 points per game, with Saunders up until he left.

1.3 points per game since. 6 points difference since the end of January which would possibly have seen us go up automatically. 6 defeats in the last 8 competitive games. Ardley was shown the door when performances dropped

Really hope it happens. I was devastated after the Coventry tie, pure nerves for days leading up to the national league ties but just wanted this over with because it felt so inevitable.

I hope SM's departure happens tonight or tomorrow before Monday. Least it'll give us something to be optimistic about.
