The owners will take into account that we've made the semi finals despite not having a full squad all season and no coaching staff for a quarter of the season, and think we'll keep with him and get some players in and the coaching staff. And see how we do

Before Port Vale, Maynard admitted he was below their targets this season. Injuries or not, it's a squad game and he has under performed

I agree we missed Didzy today, but not Jatta. Jatta's been pretty woeful since January. Is it him, the system or the role he's asked to play? No idea, but he looks a shadow of the Jatta from before Christmas.

Jatta has been poor since DC left, do not think that is a coincidence

Are you on drugs???? Keeping him as manager with this relegation form is suicide.

We used to push the ball for him to run onto. We now have him playing with his back to goal. That's not his game

    Great post and spot on!!

Physical teams playing with pace and intensity. Not afraid to go long and mix it up. Playing two strikers up front.

Our game is all about stats, but the biggest one we seem to ignore is the most crucial - number of goals scored. Take today, a must win game where it's imperative to score. 0-0 is not an option. We registered one shot on target.
    How have Forest proved that?
They?re 7th behind 6 teams that all play through the lines!
Villa were in the bottom 3 when Emery took over. He took virtually the same squad into Europe playing possession based football Vs the direct approach that Gerrard had them playing.
Our style has not been the issue. Ultimately, the only thing that matters is how many times you stick the ball in the net Vs how many times the opposition do it.
We had 24 chances Vs Cheltenham and lost the game. No other style of play is going to create more chances. We just didn?t have the minerals at each end of the pitch, over the course of the season, to get us in the top 3.

    I think he should go.

I acknowledge the difficulties with the squad and back room staff this season but we aren?t winning, playing exciting football, and are just generally passive and one dimensional, and that sits on the coaches shoulders. He hasn?t tried anything different or appear to have any motivational spark to ignite the players or fans alike.

Today was the prime example. 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes to go to save our season and we did absolutely nothing different. I don?t think he is necessarily stubborn, but just not experienced or good enough to manage a club of our size.

What is even more frustrating that the ending to this season has seemed so glaringly obvious for the last few months and nothing has changed, in fact it has gotten worse. I felt no nerves or excitement in the build up these last few games because I felt I knew exactly what would happen and how we would play, and unfortunately that?s exactly how it has panned out.

It is difficult to see a scenario now where we go into next season where more than a handful of people would be happy to see SM in the dugout.
