Many congratulations to Elite_Pie, moving into 1st place for the first time all season by correctly predicting the scoreline for what turned out to be the final game. He was down in 27th as recently as 11th March (after Grimsby away) and as low as 58th in October.

With the correct 1-0 loss prediction Elite also joins KintoreMagpie in getting the scoreline right the most times this season, 7 times.

1955pie and magpiekev finished 2nd and 3rd by getting the WDL outcome correct 23 times out of 48, just less than half right. Not the easiest season to predict with Maynard doing far better than expected early on and elevating the more optimistic among us high up the table, the back end of the season however brought the more pessimistic predictors into play - Our champion Elite finishing with the lowest win points and highest loss points in the top 16.

Thanks for running this UTM, very professionally done and an enjoyable bit of fun. I'd been tracking Elite most of the season but couldn't keep up with the late burst. I'm very happy with 23rd though as I thought only those who attended home and away had any idea what was happening on the pitch.

Not sure how I managed to win that, I was around 30th for most of the season. Must be my 'Gloomster' persona, my predictions were based on what I thought would happen rather than what I wanted to happen.

Like everyone else has said, massive thanks to UTM for taking the time and trouble to organise it all. The level of detail that went into each weekly update was really interesting to read.
