    Supporters are not customers.
So, if Liverpool or Man City were in the National League they would have the same amount of Supporters? Supporters are customers and when you start to take them for granted you're on a downward spiral. Do you think the Bros's projections for the club are not based on increasing the fan base to increase revenue? Increasing the fan base is tough enough with the attraction of Forest over the Trent, but getting any additional supporters into Meadow Lane and importantly keeping them engaged and coming down on a regular basis is the key, and that I'm afraid is down to entertainment and like it or not Notts are in the entertainment business with Supporters / Customers having plenty of other options in these hard times.

In a year or so's time, their capacity will apparently be increased by 12,000.

So the question would be - Are there currently 12k Fword fans who can't or struggle to get tickets not going to football matches, watching it on TV and waiting for the ground to be re-developed? Or are there say 5-10% of those 12k going to Notts instead for the time being? 600-1200 would not be not an insignificant number to Notts, if the latter scenario was the case.
How many young supporters have Notts hoovered up in recent years that weren't able to go to Fword because of a supply/demand issue? Will that well dry up when they increase their capacity?
