Very few worth retaining, largely as our recent recruitment has been so bad with the exception of Bass and central defence. Obviously Maynard should top the out list. I can't see any point in keeping Traore. Jatta should be cashed in now before he leaves us in January. Gordon, Tsar, Robertson, Hinchy, Grant and Morias not good enough. Palmer maybe. Whittaker no. Jarvis yes.

I hadn't heard that but I believe Didzy was our highest paid player
Maybe any new offer isn't at the same level as the deal that's just about to expire?
    That would make sense
Not sure what I'd do if I was running the club
Really hard one to decide as he was one of the best players in L2 last season despite also being one of the oldest

Austin the only slight surprise, but I think it's the right decision if we're serious about progressing.

Retained list now on the OS. Slocombe, Cameron, Chicksen, Austin leaving along with Whitaker, Cundy and Miller.

Didzy the only one offered new contract of those at end of their existing deal.

Right decision. He was being shoehorned into the side most of the time. National league is his level.

My two biggest issues with this team are the head coach and the system. Jarvis and Jones playing as genuine wingers in a 4-3-3 could be incredibly productive for us, while Robertson sitting in midfield, with Palmer and a new signing would still allow us to control games.

Get Maynard out first, and go from there.

Of the 18 contracted I think there's only about 10~ I'd want in our match day squad and I think that's potentially even being generous -

    Alex Bass - Keep
    Jacob Bedeau - Keep
    Curtis Edwards - Release/Sell
    Kellan Gordon - Release/Sell
    Conor Grant - Release/Sell
    Jack Hinchy - Sell/Loan
    Will Jarvis - Keep
Alassana Jatta - Keep or sell if the money is right and it means getting in a Langstaff type caliber of replacemement.
    Jodi Jones - Keep
Lewis Macari - Harsh but backup at best, wouldn't be too dissapointed to see him released/sold
Rod McDonald - Same as above
    Junior Morias - Release/Sell
Lucas Ness - Keep and hope he can remain injury free
Matt Palmer - Keep, pair him with Robertson and a new signing and think we'll see him back to his best.
    Matty Platt - Keep
Scott Robertson - Keep, think he's got a big role to play in our midfield if he can remain injury free
Mai Traore - Feels harsh but I think I've seen enough, sell/loan
Nick Tsaroulla - Keep, not afraid to go at his man or take a shot at goal, we need more like him in the squad.
