Indeed there is Cayton. This thread has descended into the typical chaos.
Some posters really can?t help it and as night follows day the usual suspects follow each other on to wade in.
It?s sad but not surprising that people genuinely hold these views.

fat boy , you post extreme left wing views and get away with it. You also accuse posters on this site of being racists but won?t say who . You?ve got no *******s fat boy and in all probability haven?t seen em for a while.

If it?s just hurty words we have people locked up for hurty words on twitter. Yes they were wrong and not something I agree with but it seems political bias is clouding people judgements.
I get that Lucy connely I believe her name is went too far with her views but she?s just had her appeal declined. Yet we have peadophiles walking free.
All this adds up to why people are feeling like they do towards political driven views are ok depending on who says it.
The labour MP talked about slitting people?s throats yet still hasn?t been to court yet.
Resentments is growing. And people like Linekar are silent on some things but vocal on others. It?s blatantly obvious to sensible people.
Fine to agree to disagree Yak, but to be clear, in response to the title thread, in my opinion got what he deserved - the sack from his job. Where we'd part it seems is that I don't think there is any real evidence of criminal anti semitism as you seem to be alleging - educated to an extent he may be, but only to a basic level, and many more educated people have done more stupid things than not spotting a tweet image associated to a shared post. I can't agree with equating that in all honesty with Connolly who actually requested her followers to go out and kill people.

I agree that as things get shared around in the circles of extreme political views (left and right, there are many genuine anti semites on the left, but the vast majority expressing anger at Israel's actions, including my Jewish wife and her family, are absolutely not anti semitic) that many on both left and right will perceive them as they wish, and this creates an anger bubble which I think you're referring to. However, I think it sad that many within these bubbles are willing to uncritically accept many obviously untrue and distorted tropes that feed the resentment. But it is a real thing for sure.

.................and he finally bows out. Putting his political views aside and 'solely' focusing on his presentation skills and those of MOTD for the last 25 years, it was sometimes serious, humorous or just plain presenting, thanks Gary I've enjoyed it. As the BBC look to inject a new look aspect to the show, here's hoping those stepping in can present it as well as GL did.

BBC should have thought of value for money for licence fee payers and got someone else when he started asking for seven figures.

Seems odd to me that a player can play three seasons for Tottenham Hotspur and still have no understanding of antisemitism

The Chairman might be Jewish but I don't think you can really call them a "Jewish club", that was back during the early days when there were a lot of Jewish immigrants round there.
