I am convinced there is a good manager developing in there and in time I think we will see that but the system the Bros have in place can't possibly make it easy to learn on the job. Should he go? If we recruit this close season like we have done in the last year (or worse) then yes he should go and get an ego with a big mouth in, but that's not going to happen. IF he goes the Bros will just rinse and repeat.

One thing I am certain of though is the Bros will not be pushed into anything we say.
He does come across as a decent man but we all have to play the cards we are dealt. His inexperience and lack of self confidence are evident in that he either didn't know how to change things, or was afraid too. I've said this on other threads, if you make left field appointments with inexperienced and frankly unqualified people, it is more than likely to fail. It has failed. Not that I blame Maynard. It is those that appointed him who are to blame.
Some will argue we haven't failed finishing 6th. I would disagree hugely. This league was there for the taking irrespective of injuries, internal issues etc and we blew it.
There is a danger of The Bros being "too clever"!
