Luke Williams would rather work as a baggage handler at Bristol airport than take this job.Its a botyom 8 budget , ok infrastructure is important and the new training ground has cost a lot but that will not put bums on seats.Next seadon looks like mediocrity at best.

I feel more underwhelmed this morning than I did last evening. Nevertheless it’s the club I support..hard work though.

That's the bottom line soccerman. We don't agree with all the things the club does but no matter what, it's the club we support through thick n thin

    Just one point.

Williams before coming to Notts had a win rate of 26.67%
New guy has a win rate of 25% and that was a Burton.

I think we need to give the guy a chance.

Bit of a stretch to say Williams was manager when Sherwood picked team and subs !

But it's not a stretch to say Paterson and Williams have fairly identical records before getting the Notts job. I'm happy to give him a chance too. Let's assess after 10 games rather than now.

Yep, the old 10 games to find out scenario. Everything that happened before is totally irrelevant, all that matters is the first 10 games. Maybe we should move to decimal seasons, where eveything is done in tens. Unfortunately, history tells us that after 10 games, you pretty much get the pattern for the season, and then it's very hard to turn things round.

Fair play to everyone who is desperately trying to find positives in one of the worst managerial appointments in our history though. The data is not on your side.

It is when Williams isnt picking the tean or subs at Swindon.

I mean other than coaching what was the point of the role.

If we can manage to get to 10 games we are doing very well when it comes to judging a new Notts player or head coach. History tells us that?s an ambitious target for many.

Some times we get judgements made following a couple of sub appearances or before a single game is even played based on Wikipedia stats and what fans of other clubs say, often about players we?ve never heard of before we sign them
