Quite a few times, as kids we used to stand at the front in the lane end just to the side of the goal post. Whenever we were on telly you would always see us when a goal kick was taken, usually sticking two fingers up and shouting at the opposition goalie.

Was behind the goal for Don O?s goal at Spurs but my favourite was a 3-2 win over Forest at ML. I was behind the goal bottom of the kop surrounded by Forest fans. Christie popped up to score the winner and you can see 16 yr old me jumping up and down whilst clinging onto the hooligan fencing totally oblivious to the number of red dogs that surrounded me.

Any way after the initial WTF was that i carried on celebrating and pocketed the 50 P ! i wonder if anyone else from that game was lucky enough to get some coins of the realm thrown at them !?
Not at that game but we had loadsamoney chucked at us at Newcastle in the 80s, for poor unemployed Northerners they had plenty of loose change ! re- photos the day after the Brighton PO final I was "hangin" so phoned work to say my plane had been delayed returning from holiday, that nights redrag contained a picture of me celebrating in the Magpie pub by standing on a table with a pint in each hand & having a good sing song, many of my workmates saw it but apparently none of the management. I was up on the camera gantry of the old Main Stand for the Middlesbrough play-off semi-final and many other matches, so I captured many of you but was rarely captured myself except by a camera elsewhere in the ground.

I was definitely on BBC local news coverage, clenching both fists at the screen whilst muttering *come on* in the crowd in the Kop.

I am almost 100% certain it was during the rearranged Forest Green Cup tie in the Munto season. Lee Hughes scored (my best mates were with me and were desperately hoping they could do the Hughesy, who duly obliged).

For those cricket lovers amongst us, I am featured quite prominently in the crowd during the famous Atherton-Donald confrontation at the Trent Bridge test in 1998. The atmosphere was absolutely electric.

    Happy days.

I was spotted in the crowd on TV by my cousin when Notts were playing Shrewsbury at Gay Meadow back in the 80s. He picked me out by my Wakefields bought RAF great coat, so it must have been during the colder part of the season

I always stood or sat towards the back of stands so the only time I was able to pick myself out was on a late 80s Central News report when they showed the upper section of County Road celebrating a goal.

I can't understand why modern day TV directors think it's OK to pick out crying kids when their team is losing a final or getting relegated, they must get some serious grief at school the week after.

I wasn't so lucky in 1965 Second Test v South Africa at Trent Bridge. Bunked off school and spotted on TV , playing boundary rope cricket, by my form master during the players' lunch break 🤭 Fortunately he was a cricket playing fan so I got away with a telling off.
England went into bat about 6.10 pm and Geoff Boycott was bowled for a duck by Peter Pollock. I seem to remember it was the first ball of the innings and certainly
    0-1.
