I followed the game by BBC text on the road tae Inverness tae play a gig. My poor driver buddy nearly hit the brakes as Ah "Yaassssed" upon news o' Mitov's winnin' save.
During our ceilidh set, the waltz medley, as per usual, Ah sang the second verse o' The Northern Lights' ... with a wee amendment.
'I wandered in many far off lands and travelled many a mile,
to see the Dons, the glorious Dons .. liftin' the cup wi' style
We call them the heavenly dancers, who play in attack and defence.
I'll never forget that wonderful sight, this is one hell of a night'
( Ah'd previously thought tae dae the last line as 'they made the Celts look sh!te' .. but it was a weddin' do, kids present ... ken?)

Well done Dons .... players, management, staffers, and ALL fans ... especially the ones fa have gone tae games regularly, supportin' the club through thick an' thin .... whether or nae you ever hold that cup in yer hands, it's yours as much as anybody's ... COYR!
