We are not being heard Sir Outwood, the "We know best woke brigade" no longer listen to the electorate and that must change.

Do you hear the people sing? Singing a song of angry men. Clearly the answer is no as far as Westminster goes but I don’t particularly hold out any great prospects for Nigel and his crew either. As you pointed out in another post where are the good politicians when you need them and the answer is conspicuously absent. Change however must surely come. The establishment who had dragged us further and further into the EU without consulting anyone got the shock of their lives with the Brexit vote. imo Britons want fair trade and fair travel with Europe. Co-operation but not political union. We are,when all is said and done, an independent island nation and not a piece of Continental Europe. The Tories suffered an electoral catastrophe in 2024 and I am sure Starmer fears the same fate will befall Labour unless he starts to exert control over events and he surely has not done that so far.
