I've been digging into the guy. I can understand why Eddie likes him, I'm sure he'd be a great addition to the squad, that attitude would have to be managed obvs.

However, the one thing I can't get past is the current value. It's just way way too much for a guy who's returned 10 goals.

for 55m quid we can throw our hat in the ring for someone of better quality for that kind of investment.

If he does sign, I'm not gonna be too disappointed, he not an Emmanuel Rivi?re. He will get goals and will add to the group but I just cant get pass the money.

Word on the grapevine this morning is that the fee is around 70m quid. That seems very excessive for a player who was 25+5m 2 yrs ago when we had him signed and decided to go in another direction.
