Interesting if true. Obviously a virtually blank canvas in managerial terms, but a player steeped in the Arsenal way of playing, so I can see the 'match' in that sense. If it's him then hopefully we get someone burning with ambition to achieve as a manager the potential he never quite fulfilled as a player. I'd prefer someone with a more proven managerial background, but he's worked with several top managers so you would like to think he's picked up some very good ideas up along the way. Certainly fits the description of a 'name'.
