Why are you interested in his ethnicity?

I'm not particularly but as already discussed, after the emphasis on the white man's skin colour by the police in Liverpool, in your own words in post 4751 ' they were making a rod for their own back' and anything less, going forward would receive criticism but you're already trying to reduce it to the level of it being racist as is usual with you.

People want consistency from the police and the wider, legal system and currently, they're not getting it.

Not sure why youre so defensive, it was a pretty simple question. The police have made a rod for their own trying to placate racists who might riot if a particular sort of crime is committed by a non white person. Those people also make a point of reading stories about other, random crimes solely to check what the ethnicity of the alleged perpetrator was, but Im sure youre not one of them, as you say youre not that interested.

It?s odd though how those who often claim identity politics are wrong, and how theres no such thing as racism and discrimination cant seem to stop banging on about race when it comes to crime.

I'd challenge you to show me where anyone has said that? An increasing percentage of modern racism and discrimination is actually aimed at white people. I know you'll deny that, ironically.
