We need to be getting our fingers out because what?s going to happen we will be shopping in the bargain basement with inflated prices.

..never good news out of you Phoney. 😁

I'm comfortable not to enter a bidding war for this player. The player should know who the best prospect is.

Looks like Yoo spending the dangerteeth money before they yet it.

It's a real shame if he does but I guess to a certain generation the name Man Utd will always have allure, plus they will offer more money - which could massively back-fire on them.

We just move on if this is the case, we looked at Noni Madueke before and it looks like he's on the for sale bench at Chelsea.

    Fuck him...we'll move on.

This is nowt to do with us being slow or anything. For a player from Cameroon, Man U are still a big name. And they are are a big name but he's not joining them for football reasons.

    His choice, his loss.

Meanwhile, Man U are ?800 million in debt but can still spend with impunity because the rules are designed to let them do just that.

    Hand on heart.

Any player going to them now, I wouldn?t want in our squad. Wrong attitude and character.

says all you need to know about the man. I don't buy the "Wage issues persist at Newcastle United". We don't have issues. We are just not going to overpay for players preferring to offer them performance related incentives.

Wage issues persist at Newcastle United
This comes just days after a claim over how much Matheus Cunha will earn at Man United, with the Brazilian set to earn ?200,000-a-week.

Those kinds of figures are more than what Newcastle’s highest earner gets, with Bruno Guimaraes on ?160,000-a-week.

The Magpies are hoping to change their highest earner, with Alexander Isak set for contract talks.

Geordie Boot Boys understand that Newcastle want Isak to be their highest earner, but an offer of at least ?200,000-a-week will likely be required to satisfy the Swedish striker’s demands.

    100% this.

I can see the exact same happening, more wages I mean, not Man Utd, if we go for Guehi.

Chelsea or Liverpool will offer more money.

We need to be looking outside the Prem, the level of our first choice 11 means that prem established players will have, or we should have been banging down doors yesterday, though to be fair none of us know if we were or not.

I just hope we have options for each position and are quick to pivot.
