    Prediction League - Brentford

Last match of the season. It's been a tale of two seasons for Wolves, as the GON offseason and opening stretch was a disaster and difficult to watch. Then Vitor came in and righted the ship and provided some watchable footy. I expect a decent amount of movement in and out and the last couple matches have shown the necessity of that. Brentford have nothing but pride to play for as well. Hope we give the fans a good sendoff into the offseason.

The Plater said "Thanks Mich for once again running the Prediction League."

I suspect we all thank Mich for his efforts as without the Prediction League I suspect the forum would disintegrate.

I hope that the small group of idiots that wrecked a vibrant and lively site are pleased with themselves!

Despite having part of my bowel removed just over two weeks ago .I managed to get to the Brentford game. It was worth the effort to witness a stunning goal from Marshall Munetsi and a world class performance from Joao Gomes.

For an end of season fixture, it was a very entertaining game, which either side could have won. Both teams missed chances and it was certainly end to end. Having lost the last game of the season for the previous seven, a draw was very welcome. Such a pity that Man U pipped us on goal difference and cost the club over two million pounds. Most of the goal damage was unfortunately done before Christmas.

At least we set one record this season. We are the first team in the Premier League era, to go through the season without being awarded a penalty. In fact I read it is now fifty games since our last one.

It was clear from the scenes after the match, that several players were saying goodbye to Molineux. The summer transfer window will be interesting as will the new fixture list. Let us hope we don't get all the previous seasons top ten as out opening fixtures like this year. We need a positive start to the season and accumulate some early points.

Thanks Mich for organising the prediction league, and enjoy the summer break everyone.

Hi George. I hope you make a full recovery from your operation and I look forward to reading your match reports next season. All the best.
