    Scott Carson

Apparently Scott Carson is set to LEAVE Man City after six years at the club, his contract will not be renewed.
I have copied and posted these following statistics, so unable to confirm their reliability?

    Trophies earned?

    🏆 4x Premier League
    🏆 1x Champions League
    🏆 1x FA Cup
    🏆 2x League Cup
    🏆 1x Community Shield
    🏆 1x Super Cup
    🏆 1x Club World Cup

    108 minutes played !!!!!!!!

He therefore wins a trophy every 9.8 minutes.

Is that really the case I wonder ?

I was of the belief you had to play a percentage of the games in league competitions to be awarded with a winners medal. Probably not so in cup competitions so it is possible Scott has won quite a bit without little contribution.

That said, he has done well for himself particularly financially, given that he was described as being good enough for us.

    I say well done him.

    From the Net.

“A player needs to have played in a minimum of five Premier League matchesduring a title-winning season to be guaranteed a medal. While the Premier League rules require a minimum of five appearances, according to the Premier League and Optus Sport, the club can, at its discretion, award additional medals to players who have played less than five matches. This is often done for backup goalkeepers or players who were unable to meet the minimum due to injury.”
