Add all these together, New Manager, Assistant manager, New fitness coach, Defensive coach and who knows who else? I think these 'are' things to be excited about. Yes they all have to click and work as one but surely even you'll agree that it's already a far better set up than last season.

One prospect that excites me is that Hamshaw is looking to use and bring in a far younger squad and develop our Junior players and not just throw money at has beens like Evans did. Forward future thinking, let's hope it all turns out okay for him.
    Yes I hope so too

However there?s not much there yet to attract the floaters when it comes to season tickets

Evans tackled recruitment like a bull at a gate and the outcome was pretty disastrous.
Let's hope MH's more measured approach delivers better results, the window has only been open for 4 days after all.

I remember a comment last year about us being HMS invincible or something daft.

Also other clubs supporters telling Evans that there was another 12 week until the transfer windows closed. I found it funny!

What was also incredible about last summer was that we didn?t sign enough players! That also carried on till the January window.

It is all new to Hamshaw so him taking his time is a good sign.

We have offers in to 3 players ATM M8. 2 are very interested one has alternate offers Inc a new contract offer from his present club. Guess a bit like Humphreys. Glad he's taking his time.

At brin, I guess the tonge situation is dependant on the compensation Mr fry is requesting, that's why the club are not announcing it yet

Cayton, when you say 'we have offers in' does that mean other clubs have offered bids for our players or have we put bids in elsewhere? Very open to interpretation that pal. As for the Tonge situation, I'm sure that Fry would welcome JCH back with open arms as part of the compo package......

When you think all the players have to return on 26th June for two days of testing.....whatever that involves? Then all the hard graft begins in readiness for the August kick off. So in essence we have 20 days to get new players in and hopefully one or two out.

Looking back on last season, we had our 23 players by now, what a different experience this is for both Hamshaw and us fans.

Brin most Rotherham fans will have seen Fornah play at some stage, he was at Forrest for a good few years came through their academy had good loans at Plymouth and Shrewsbury and he joined Derby in a direct transfer from Forrest, not many of those.
He spent last season at Salford on loan, is contract is up at Derby on 30th June.
He is 25 a defensive midfielder breaks up play strong athletic and mobile I would sign him in a heartbeat I expect Hamshaw knows all about him

Yes sounds promising but it all boils down to personal demands at the end of the day. What is good is that he's out of contract so will be wanting a wage from somewhere sooner than later.
