His mention of this team being the team commemorated in days to come as the 83 group is something I found hard to believe on first reading but on reflection true. Every generation needs the heroes for this cause we all find ourselves supporting, Aberdeen. In a similar vein, I thought it sad that the great Gordon Reid will not be portraying Shinnie?s victory celebrations. But then again, it would be good to know that long after we are all gone others a little bit like us will still be investing in this stuff. Happy days.

Because I?m such a top red, or maybe just because the weather?s rubbish and I?m a boring old fart, I just rewatched the whole game on RedTV. Well, second half on to be honest.
Main things that passed me by on the day were that Dante went into the back 3 (stuff knows how I missed that), what a good job Dabbagh did when he came on, and just how it could have gone either way during extra time.
Other than that, Gueye was even better than i remembered
One thing that didn't pass me by was tht WE WON THE SCOTTISH CUP.
