July 15th Harrogate away for a 7pm kick off.
July 26th Accrington Stanley for a 3pm kick off.
Anyone going to them?
No mention yet of our annual trip to Parkgate FC, I'm sure they'll be one though.

Everything seems late this year Brin. Pre season friendlies, the Parkgate game, the cricket match at Wicko, the BBQ,the pre season training camp and.........any news on signings. Is this a new deliberate tactic or is everyone down at the NYS fed up and bored with it all!
JB, I recall when Mark Robins was in charge and back then, nothing was ever rolled out until everything was signed on the dotted line.
Maybe everyone has been told to keep a lid on things? It is a complete change form last season, by this time Evans had signed 12 players.
If you watch Brecks' interview, he said he's releasing the date soon for the Wicko cricket game. The pre season training camp news is also being released next week so I suppose things will slowly trickle out soon. Like you say though, everything seems late this year.
Obviously we don't want to overstretch the lads before the season. Maybe I should get back together with Matt's dad Phil to arrange a friendly against the 1972 Totty Cup winners from Monkwood Juniors![]()
Sad but it looks like Monkwood Juniors don?t have a football team anymore, I don?t think Rosehill have either.
Don't knacker the players up with friendlies, sick room hoodoo at NYS is rife.
Finally, the one we've been waiting for.......
Rotherham United can confirm that our 2025/26 Sky Bet League One preparations will open with our traditional friendly against Parkgate.
Matt Hamshaw’s men will take on the recently-promoted side on Friday 4th July, with the slightly earlier time of 6:45pm being set for kick off.
Our pre-season opener kicks off at a slightly earlier than normally billed due to the Millers jetting off to an overseas training camp the following day. Details of where and when the Millers will be travelling are set to be confirmed in the coming days.
The fixture will provide supporters with the chance to see our 2025/26 Primary strip in action for the first time, with the Red and White Shop taking pre-orders for all three strips from the 16th June.
As was the case last year, tickets for the pre-season clash will go on sale via Parkgate’s external ticketing supplier.
UPDATE ON TICKETING.....
Tickets for our traditional pre-season opener against Parkgate will go on general sale at 10am on Saturday 21st June.
Tickets can only be purchased online through Parkgate’s external ticketing supplier, and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
There are 1,100 tickets up for sale, so we urge supporters to act fast to avoid disappointment.
Prices for the fixture are as follows:
Adults - 12 pounds
Concessions (under 16s and over 65s) - 8 pounds
