    Inward investment.

There were rumours that the Home Depot guy was going to invest. No mention of that would be 50%, 80%, 100% or some other figure. His name is Arthur Blank and he's 82. Owns Atlanta Falcons franchise. In 2012, he signed the Giving Pledge and committed to give more than half of his wealth away. I'm sure DCFC would be happy to help him do just that.

Things went quiet on that front. Now there's new chatter about, emanating from, shall we say, the lower echelons of the Pride Park hierarchy. Someone who works there has, apparently, told someone they know that a deal has been done and that it will be announced on July 1st and that it's the #1 coffee machine chit chat subject. They are, however, totally in the dark as to whom the investor is.

More unconfirmed rumour but I thought I'd share it.

Interview a couple of days back with him on Radio Derby but he said he wouldn't be buying again but was prepared to help in any way he could and that "David has my number". Doesn't sound like a man with an "oven ready deal all signed, sealed and delivered".

God save us from one of those! Think I’d prefer a Blank cheque please.
