Thread: Training Ground Update

  1. #11
This shows that the Bros are here for the long term this will be a huge investment million plus ? if they are going to replicate the new ML pitch. They seem to suprise us all the time with ? off field? investment which can only grow Notts as a championship club at least. Hope they can now finish the jigsaw with a quality accomplished manager and 5 at least, experienced quality players. Big thank you to them for their endeavors and belief in this great club!!

    Great stuff.

Such a smart move to use an existing facility and work with the University to provide something that will benefit all parties.

This is another example of the clubs sensible, long term and overall ambitious thinking, planning and execution.

A busy couple of days news wise following Dr David Rhodes, Tom Iorpenda and now this. A really positive Head Coach announcement would top off a good looking week.

Unexpected fantastic news, the relevance to our club should not be underestimated. I echo the playful piss taking comments of others.

Should keep the people questioning the owners levels of ambition and interest quiet for at least a few weeks?.hopefully

You're dead right Pedro. This move is just some sugar coating to up the ante for when the Qatari Princes try to finalise their $12billion bid to buy the Bros out. They'll eventually be annoyed when they find out however that the University and the tram line aren't actually included but the Bros will have done a runner by then.

A couple of days, if they don't announce a new Head Coach

This is excellent news. We all know it's been a problem that the club has had for many years switching training grounds/pitches every few seasons and being nomads moving around the city to various different places and locations.

So this is another big part of the off the field infrastructure jigsaw completed. Plus it makes the club even more professional and more appealing to both existing and potential new players.
