Listened to " At My Piano " last night , his last album. Alzheimers taken hold at this stage , and its just a collection of some of his music played almost without any accompaniment , and if it wasn't Brian at the piano you probably wouldn't give it a listen , but knowing the songs all came from this troubled mind makes it special.

Truly a great song Brin. As part of a box set I have 1 CD is made up entirely of sessions at the 3 studios he used for just this one song , Capitol Records were not too pleased at the length of time he spent on this track.

I recall being stood in the dinner queue at primary school when this song suddenly appeared in my head. It was my first ever 'earworm'.
What a choon...
Sad as it is, I don't mourn his loss, but instead celebrate his life and the joy he brought into the lives of me and so many others.
