The bros are doing everything mostly right but obviously need to up it a touch on the pitch as if they get that right too we will be looking like a real proper club on the up and I think we?d catch a wind going up through the leagues, easier said than done though.
You should remind your red mates that tax payers also helped bail them out more in the early 2000's.

Of course they not mention that to you or the fact their fat owner tried to pull a fast one with changing names on paperwork and then has the brass neck to kick off about Palace.

We've had a bunch of chancers since Pavis who haven't had the financial clout to deal with the inevitable setbacks football throws at them, some of those setbacks not of their own making to be fair, but none of them should have been anywhere near Notts, they'd have been much better suited to somebody like Rochdale or Hartlepool.

We had financial issues when Pavis took over and his tenure ended 25 years ago, thats hardly a ringing endorsement for the old ways. Not sure what the Bros exact plans are but I feel we are in as good a place as I could wish for and I am happy to go along with their project.

The fact that the Bros have, for the first time in our history, given us a long-term solution to our training ground problem speaks volumes about why we’re in a great place off the field. Now that needs translating to the league.

In 6 years under the current owners we've only once finished where we should have done, 2nd to Wrexham in 2023. Every other season we've finished below at least one smaller club. We've not once overachieved and still yet to finish as high as Hardy did.
Gaining play off positions ! Now that's the kind of failure I can live with...!!..first time back in the 2nd division competing for a play off place until our manager was poached ! That the kind of failure I can live with. 2nd season in the second division play off defeats. That's the kind of failure I can live with. All at the expense of a new lesuire facilities including the revenue generating Nest and Paddle courts.State of the art pitch facility. State of the art new training facilities to be purpose built replicating state of the art grass pitch we play on.! Investment in young talented players.Yes this club is on its knees and everything is done on the cheap..!!🤣

    "2nd division"
What are you on about, we're in League Two, the old FOURTH division. We ARE failing simply by being in this awful league.
However that doesn't mean Hardy did a good job, he quite clearly didn't.

I spose it depends how you look at it Pedro? If I was being a miserable sod, (which I often am), you could argue that 1) in our first season back in Div 4, we ought to have finished in a P/O spot, but didn't, and 2) in our 2nd season, we ought to have got auto, but didn't? The Broz ob agreed with 2) cos they sacked the manager because of it.

But how long can you live with it? The last two seasons haven't been a disaster, but as gumpy said I think we've underachieved in both. Could you live with top half or playoff failure for the next few seasons simply because we're continuing to build for the future?

Yes.if we continue to compete at the top of the league. However I don't think we will be stagnating( if that's how you perceive it)for long as we seem to have an improvement season upon season so far.The squad on paper seems to be getting stronger each season, why the negativity?
