Sems a little odd & a certain risk as to where one's card details end up. Has anyone noticed that since the blackout this board has slowed down to dos promp pace.
That's new then. Registered last year and didn't have to do that. Has anyone else who's registered recently had to do that? None of the new members on the 'new' board have mentioned it. Strange!

Nope, not sure whether youve gone to the wrong site or some other area but registration is free and i have not been prompted for any credit card info whatsoever.

I can't remember being asked for card details. In fact re registered under a different name at the weekend by pure accident & was never asked such info

Nope, never had to prove ID in any way and most certainly not with a credit card.

It's going to become seriously annoying having to check both forums for news. Maybe we should have a poll now that more people have tried the other one out and set a date where those who want the new one to prevail stop logging on or posting here for say 4 weeks - and see if this forum then dies a death.

I don't see any ads on this site but if you've not got them blocked then it has to be a no brainer if the other one is ad free.

Difficult one. I might do a poll to get an idea of who wants what in numbers.

I registered without providing anything more than usual detail. Certainly no card info
