This site is running at tortoise pace YET AGAIN, and this is with minimal traffic at this time of year. Do people really want to put up with a two minute wait to view a post on matchdays all through the coming season? It seems so far that 3 people are happy to do just that.

Edit: from clicking 'post reply', it took 58 seconds for the post to appear on the board!!!!

I'd pick this one if it worked properly as there are some good functionalities on this that the other doesn't have. However, if this one keeps being SLOOOOOOOOOOW then let's make the leap.

Whats missing on the new one Swale? There are some free additions i can bolt on the new site if required. Maybe pm me on the new site

The main function I will miss is the display settings option to have the board display the most recent post first on each thread, rather than the oldest. In other words I use the board 'upside down' and scroll down to go back in time rather than up.

It means far, far less scrollage

Also the simplicity of seeing the bold threads containing new posts in the list as soon as it opens.

I guess we'll get used to navigating the new one just as we did this one back in the day though. It's really just a question of familiarity I reckon.
