We just had the comment about announcing the new coaching team + the somewhat cryptic "restructuring the football department" comment. Then nothing.

The lack of communication coupled with very little in the way of credible rumours just feels weird. LW makes sense, but surely that would have happened by now if so. I get that he might have been waiting on "better" offers, but surely the club wouldn't sit around waiting for him for a month on the off chance.

Hojer is the only one that makes sense at this point, but I don't see why the club can't communicate what's going on without being specific.
If it was Williams he would have been announced by now and that would boost season ticket sales plus he's currently unemployed. If he's waiting for "better offers" then I'd move on to someone else because we know his record regarding "better offers"!!

Hojer seems the most obvious to me but a wild gamble like Maynard was.

I don't think Hojer can be seen in the same category as Maynard when it comes being a gamble. He would actually be a bit of statement appointment for Notts. Being entrusted to manage the u21s of an established footballing nation is nothing like coaching Wealdstone. Some of the players he's coaching, and many of those his team are playing against, will go on to play at the very highest level.

U21 coaches tend to be highly regarded and competent but also yes men, both of which would make him an appealing choice for the bros. Throw in the fact he's Danish and spent most of his coaching career at Viborg and it all adds up. The reason I'd doubt it is he might be looking to coach a club at a higher level than L2.
