Never really understand why Israel doesn't agree to a cease fire and withdrawal from Gaza in return for the release of all hostages. In the short term it ensures the survival of Hamas, but once the hostages are safely back home it's just a matter of waiting for Hamas to breach the terms of the cease-fire, which they inevitably will, then send the IDF back in with the gloves off to finish the scum off for good.

I would think an Israeli withdrawal, means that, the (Gazans) ' Palestinians' retake or occupy those new positions ,only to strengthen them for a future attack. I do not think any leader would fight ,lose soldiers ,then give it back? A cease fire with these people will never hold. Their aim,
