It's a pain not hearing any rumours as you want to get a bit excited about what might happen, however the last few signings came out of the blue, which is probably good work by the club

I was told yesterday, by a very good source, that signings are imminent and we have a crazy amount of bids in for various players. Some way more hopeful than others.

My Spurs supportin pal tells ma they hae jist signed a new centre back, and has doots re. Dorrington gettin a game noo for the first team .... Personally, Ah thought the guy was brill for us, and can see him growin' intae a massive asset for ony team .... like, ony team that gies him the chunce ... snap him up Dons, ffs!

The wee report does go on to say he is signed as an addition straight for first team squad. Which does perhaps indicate that oor Alfie will be a bit doon the first team pecking order still.
I also thought he was fcukin brilliant for us, and would be delighted if we get him back.
