Only Ted that springs to mind is Ted Helmsley for the blades, a legendary footballer who also played professional cricket !

Just been checking his wikipedia page and he was only christened Ted Cann.

Won't cost much to put his full name on a shirt!

Brin - it might please RU66 but last time we had a super tall GK it didn't work out too well (Jamal Blackman). In fact most top GKs are under 6' 3" and the top ones over that don't give the appearance of being 'lanky'.

When Blackman went down for a ball it always reminded me of how they use explosives to take a big chimney down. UTM

I asked that we sign a big keeper and the club have certainly obliged. Whether he's also brave, aggressive, and can kick with both feet remains to be seen. His stats as a 24 year old are completely underwhelming. But maybe we've unearthed a gem. I hope he's successful. Can't be as poor as what we had and still have. Cann he?

I’m not aware of ANY drainage issues last year with the training ground ? Think that door is shut !

Who knows. It's either a Viktor (yes please) or a Blackman/roos (please no)

I think his post was a joke, with reference to Ted the gardener in the fast show
