The amount has been the same (105m) since it’s inception (2013/14) and Ozil was the most expensive transfer that window, moving to Arsenal for £42.5M.

Fast forward to what is the very tail end of the 24/25 season and a 45M bid is rejected out of hand.

Out of all respects that FFP/PSR is a complete racket, the fact the permissible loss had not been adjusted is the most obvious.

It can’t believe there have been no legal challenges to it not even being adjusted by at least inflation.

That 105m in 2013 would be £147.5m as of May 25… that’s a f**king big difference!
