What?s everyone?s opinion on the new signings so far.

We don?t produce rumours for the media (the club) regarding signings as everything is top secret currently. My grumble would be it can be a bit boring but totally understandable.

I don't know anything of our signings to comment, but from what I saw at Cove on Saturday, I am optimistic on a few of them.


I enjoy reading a rumour or two, we even had rumours pre internet days, but I think this new strategy from the club, of blanket silence until the deal is done, is rather good.

Still think we are light in a couple of areas, but sure we will see some more coming and goings before the window shuts.

600,000 pounds plus add-ons was what I read. Mind you, Luton must be skint after getting relegated twice in two seasons. And they're building a new stadium.

My english team & its quite the opposite actually. The Prem season money & then the parachute payments following relegation mean theyre quite flush. They actually got an extra ?4m for some inexplicable reason for getting relegated again.

Also absolutely mugged the hun for ?3.5million for an utter donkey in Asgaard last week so no shortage of cash - though a big reason for the double relegation was the fact too much of the cash has been diverted to the new stadium.

Id rather keep Shady too, but unless he signs an extension Id take ?1m plus add ons now.

I agree - we go for an extension or sell. Don?t want to see him leaving for nothing.

Would rather a 1 year extension. Let?s see what happens.
