I don’t think it’s your anecdotes that trigger some on here, AF, it’s their occasional transparent lack of accuracy imo.

In this case it would seem that, through your business dealings, you may well have a more informed insight into any typical Clacton mindset than most, but I don’t know why you mention ‘media bias’. If anything I’d suggest Farage is sadly more of a media darling than a villain.

P.S. Technical issues taking the site to hell in a handcart again.

Sorry. I’ve honestly no idea what you’re referring to. All I’m suggesting is, anecdotes have their place, we all use them and people don’t feel ‘triggered’ by yours - or anyone else’s - unless they’re clearly embellished or exaggerated.

Upset? Triggered? Nah I'm not that bothered by what you post, sure I will (if I can be arsed) call out your posts where I think they are xenophobic, racist, inaccurate or as you often do, base your argument on anecdotal evidence which clearly doesn't stand up to in depth scrutiny, or ask you to explain why you think certain ways (generally not getting an answer).

But its not because I'm upset, more a pushback in the hope you might reconsider certain views. I realised a long time ago that no amount of actual evidence will actually change people's views, that Farage and Trump supporters don't see the contradictions in what these two grifters say and what they do, whilst enriching themselves shows that.

You have certain view point and mind set, expressed in more subtle ways than TTR does, but essentially similar. Its a shame really, but it doesn't bother me and I don't waste my time worrying about it.
