So latest on this is Sesko has said he's happy to come to us but RBL are now dragging hoping to spark a bidding war with Manure.

Manure do want him but can't reach the figure RBL want so have offered player in exchange - player doesn't want to go there.

**** knows where this ends up.

Although I do agree that if Manure get a bid in and accepted he'll end up there.

Reported that we've now given RBL a 48hours deadline as well now, same way we gave Sesko a 24hr one yesterday.

Hopefully this will be resolved one way or another by weekend.

Me too. We are way weaker now, compared to last season. With Isak gone we need two strikers and a CB, and another CM. Elanga in is fine, but he doesnt make up for all depatures.

We've gone in with a strong bid of ?69.7m plus add-ons. If RBL say no to that, it's time to say see ya later and just hold Isak for the season. Craig Hope and others reporting that they have 48 hours to get the deal done or we're out.

I worked with Benjamin Sesko and Erling Haaland – one stood out as better

Should they be successful in their endeavours, they will welcome a highly-rated player who was once tipped to have more potential than Haaland by their former RB Salzburg boss, Rene Aufhauser. The Norwegian goal machine, now 25, spent time at Salzburg between 2019 and 2020, whilst Sesko represented the Austrian outfit from 2020 to 2023.

And speaking to the Mail in 2022, Aufhauser said of the two: "Benjamin is maybe the better football player, better to play with the team, technically maybe better at the same age. His natural movements are so good, he's 6ft 4in tall, fast and has very, very good physical ability.

"He's so smooth with the ball, very good technique, good finishing and he jumps so high. Very, very, good with the head, It's unbelievable. Erling was mentally a monster and [mentally] better at the same age. This is the last five, 10 per cent that Benji has to get."
