I don't think RBL will actively try to help Man Utd but I do think they want a bidding war to happen. Regardless of how bad a position we're in with this window, we should stick to deadline and walk if they won't meet it.
The filth are assuming the RBL will accept their bid. I don't think they will or have.

IF RBL had accepted the bid & the Media is right that the lad want's only the filth.

(Funny how we were encouraged to bid after the player had taken time to speak with his family, agent and Klopp among others. Had the player been 'Only wanting the filth' we wouldn't have bid or wasted our time.)

As it stands regardless of all the media noise.

    1. The filth have not matched out bid
    2. RBL have not accepted and won't accept less money
    3. The player hasn't decided between the two clubs
    4. The filth only put the insulting lowball offer in because we were clear to sign the player without competition
    5. The filth have to sell the 3 losers on huge salaries to finance this. They won't
    6. RBL will be encouraging the filth to up their bid. They won't
    7. Wednesday there will be a conclusion to this. NUFC has said we want an answer by end of Wed

Should this one go against us. Here are the Strikers still available. I've put them in descending order of choice,

    1.Woltemade - ?55m
    2.Ramos - ?70m
    3.Samu - ?80m release clause
    4.Endrick - ?70m/Loan

    5.Watkins - ?60m
    6.Boniface - ?50m
    7.Jackson - ?70m

Samu's release clause might make it a more interesting opportunity so it's non-negotiable.

However, I'd like to see us bring in Woltemade and Ramos. Two very good quality players.

Ideally I'd like Sesko & Woltemade. Those two would destroy defences, both massive animals + J7 +BDB + Botman with Tripz, Elanga & the new set piece coach... That's devasting!

Nobody will choose NUFC over a cartel club, on less money. I'm sorry, but thats an insane thought!

No player will pick us above, Man U, Chelsea, etc. given the playing time is about the same.

They can offer more money, and really a better project - because they run the cartel and will attract better players also in the future.

The PL is so rotten and feck up, its starting to become rather boring. Feckin waste of time.

The player is gonna earn a lot more at the filth. If RBL don't put their foot down and say we're taking the Newcastle offer because it's more money then he's got no choice.

Sadly it doesn't look good and I'm sure the media machine will be crowing over this. No doubt it'll be used by every shill and social media mouthpiece to prove we're 'a wikkle wikkle cwub'.

We tired, we move on. As it stands, Isak is going nowhere. So there is a silver lining.

Not sure Isak staying is good news. He doesnt want to be here, and tbh. one could ask if he should be starting... wich means Osula up front then, what a mess.

I thought we couldnt have a worse window than last time, but it turns out they are becoming worse each time.

Worst squad depth since the take over, with more games than ever coming up.

A lot of that I agree with.

I am having a reality check day today.

Things are a little disapointing so far but c'mon we've had much much worse. True, not the moon on a stick but we have a goalie with an option to buy who can kick a ball. We have an amazing RW signed and potentially Isak sorted for another year with a get out promised to a non PL club. We still need CB, MF and a CF replacement for Wilson if Isak stays and we still have a month to do it Wissa could be that player and its a waiting game for him.

The more I think about it, we dodged a bullet with Ekitike and potentially Sesko. They are not worth the figures being quoted IMO but I like the altetnative names quoted by Raga above.

So that only leaves a CB and MF. I still have faith but the club needs to up its game gping forward.

For me it's clear that neither bid has been rejected. All the media saying that the player prefers the filth.

Obviously the agent is gonna get a generous brown envelop as is standard procedure.

The fact is that 'negotitations' between the filth and Sesko's people and the player.

Why is it taking so long? Why hasn't the Newcastle bid been rejected?

No doubt the filth will throw ridiculous wages for him as they have for Cunha & Bummo. Should the package not be as generous as those two player, 200,000+ quid a week Sesko could well decide to join Newcastle. He's already accepted our package.

Don't care either way TBH. The name doesn't matter. Like the goal keepers Trafford or the one we got, Ramsdale... had to think hard there. Eddie will get the best out of them.

I don't care it's about the team and club.

Which is why I'm delighted that Eddie has told Isak he was not welcome at the family day or included in the team training.

It's clear Isak isn't going to be sold at this point, with little chance of a replacement for him at this late stage in the window but the lad has a lot of humility to learn and some serious apologies to make before the group will allow him back into the fold.

Brilliant to see that this nonsense of 'Player Power' over the club is absolute horse sh!t if you have a strong relationship between, Captain, Squad, Manager and Chairman.

No one is bigger than the club. He leaves on the Clubs terms. Not his own.

Sesko flying to Manchester for the medical.

    Disappointed but not deterred.
