There would have to be a national strike lasting several weeks or even months to bring a government down .

I think we all know that's unlikely to happen for even one day so unfortunately it is what it is .

Labour are likely to do the full 5 years too , finding an opportunity to call a snap election might prove tricky to say the least .

The latest 40 billion pounds black hole isn't going to go down too well with the electorate and yes taxes will be going up .

Unfortunately you won't see any improvement for your extra taxation either .

My advice would be to get out if you can , the countrys done for and it isn't going to get better either .

If nobody on here was allowed to talk 'bollax' as you call it then it would be like the Marie Celeste. By all means challenge the 'bollax', but either stop having a go at us or just stop posting.

    Free speech? Maybe, maybe not.

    Sensible speech? Definitely.

Anything more than 10 million signatures would still not be taken seriously. Debated yes but binned later.
As Jean Paul Sartre once wrote, " The Die is Cast" ou "Les Jeux Sont Faits" for the benefit of our European friends.
This current Labour Government will not be changing course any time soon. The latter are controlled by the puppet masters in Whitehall and beyond.
Any Political Party which is elected to run the UK ( that's a joke in itself) will have their hands tied by self same puppet masters and told what to do.
Remember Rachel Reeves when she was crying and distressed in the House Of Commons? Poor lass had been given a dressing down by, I suspect, the men in suits. She has been made to look incompetent. Even her hands have been tied. Statistically if the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer goes/resigns the financial markets become jittery. The Prime Minister would lose all credibility, what's left of it. Sir Keir Starmer would have no other option but to seek an audience with the King before calling a GE.
    Tell me I am wrong.

It isn’t a general election we need it is the complete removal of all 600+ charlatans that pretend to represent the people and even worse is the House of Lords and the wider establishment. The apparent level of corruption within the UK establishment aspersions to get worse each year, the only good news is we don’t have to tolerate an unelected president who misplaces emails related to allegations over improper business deals.

Don't forget the useless overpaid fat cats at Whitehall who have been ruining this country for the last three decades.
