If conditions are right, ie a repentant Isak - that would be ideal for a year then sell abroad but reckon that ship has sailed.
Well if it hasn't yet, they've shouted 'all aboard', untied all the ropes and are preparing to cast off. And that's the crazy thing about the way he's gone about this-if he'd waited until next year, most of us would have expected that and, whilst not liking it, got on with it. But, like I've said elsewhere, the timing and the manner are a slap in the face to everyone at the club and to the fans.

As for repentant, it would take a hell of a humble pie statement and some big performances to get him accepted by the fans again. In terms of the players, it's different when it's your mate-he must have explained it to them from his point of view so they might not be quite as unforgiving. That being said, if the Wilson stuff is true, maybe they think he's a twat too.

I remember watching Andy Cole not long before he was sold. There was a long ball he could have got and he just gave up with a look on his face that was definitely a 'couldn't give a shit' one and I remember saying to my mate 'did he just give up there?' and we were both like 'nah, it's Andy Cole, that's not how he does things'. That sort of thing happened a few times and whe he left, we went 'ahhhhh, riiiight...'

Same with Isak and a lot of his play towards the end of the season-but yes, we've all seen him rushing to get the ball out of the back of the net-and you go 'ahhhh, riiiight,,,'(but to a much greater extent than with Cole. With him, it looked like there was a rabbit off but with Isak it's like all the cast and extras from Watership Down).
