    From what I know of him this is a smart decision. Hope that I am proved to be correct!

    Havent seen much of him but he is a big lad and is progressive on the ball. I think he played defensive mid a bit last season.

    You can see where we are going buying these types of players.

    Think this is a good move. He didn't always start for Blues last season as Davies preferred others but he has been an important player for them in the past who was also selected as captain. His experience and versatility ( he usually plays either as a central defender or defensive midfielder) have seen several clubs interested but being already Midlands based probably helped swing it for us. At 27, he is keen to push for regular game time again and put himself in the window for a return to his national team so he has the motivation too.

    With the promising showings of both Williams and Campbell and now signing Bielik, I'm feeling slightly less apprehensive about losing Heggem.

    A shrewd bit of business, getting an experienced but still relatively young player for a very affordable price.
