    NUFC vs Villa

    Ok, folks...here we go again.

It's the glass-ceiling derby. Two teams with the desire and the means to progress but who can't. Or, rather, aren't allowed.

Hopefully Gordon has recovered from his ankle injury. I'd expect Murphy to start as that's how Eddie does things and, similarly, Pope will be in goal, you'd think.

Setting aside his iffy form over the last part of the season, we're without one of Europe's best strikers so this is an uphill task already.

Would definitely take a point now.

Schar and Burn starting again instead of Botman no pace at all a huge worry, Id have preferred Ramsdale to start instead of pope as well a much better all round keeper,

I guess Botman is still in the final stages of his injury rehab; ditto Hall.

Unfortunate but better than coming back too early and relapsing.

Not a fan of this body cam mind? absolutely pointless, it?s just a shaky image of the pitch, with some hands flapping about about .

If this is what every pre match is gonna consist of I might have to just put the radio on 😆

We need to take advantage of this possession and of their mistakes (but, yeah, we have no cutting edge to do so)

Reasonably happy with the first half. Kept them quiet and our midfield trio has just bossed the middle of the park. Tonali is some player and always seems to be in the right place. Gordon working hard also. Just need that one lucky break.
